0 Full-time 6 hours ago Full Job Description Cape Cod Tech is hiring a teacher for its Chapter 74 Engineering Technology program.
Candidates should possess strong content knowledge, industry experience and a desire to teach and work with young adults.
Teacher responsibilities include providing high quality and coherent instruction based on the Chapter 74 MA Curriculum Frameworks in Engineering Technology.
This is a four-year vocational program that introduces students to the basic skills inherent to mechanical, electrical and civil engineering as well as architecture, robotics and computer integrated manufacturing.
Students gain accreditation in several computer software programs as well as experience with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines and robotic manufacturing equipment.
The program is focused on preparing students for post secondary college or employment in the engineering technology area.
The teacher is tasked with promoting the learning and growth of all students through instructional practices that establish high expectations and creating a safe and engaging learning environment, developing partnerships with families and community members and working to maintain an ethical, culturally proficient and collaborative teaching practice.
Familiarity with Project Lead the Way Principles of Engineering and 3D CAD design software such as SolidWorks is helpful.
Cape Cod Tech, located in Harwich MA, offers robust, hands-on technical education to high school students living in a twelve-town district.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
