The Property Service Technician is a client-facing role responsible for property repair and maintenance within PSD's Property Services division.
The Property Service Technician supports client accounts for both service calls and emergency calls as assigned.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Perform assigned service calls, primarily using carpentry skills and knowledge to resolve the problem and close the service call.
Perform weekly house watches of assigned properties, complete log report and turn in to Property Services Manager.
Perform Fall and Spring Maintenance Services for client base as assigned.
Cover 24/7 emergency ONCALL service (rotating coverage with other technicians).
Responsible for maintaining company vehicles (clean, organized, oil changes).
Purchase supplies necessary to complete maintenance service and repair assignments and keep van stocked.
Report all major repair/maintenance needs of client properties to the Property Services Manager.
Meet trade partners onsite for estimating service requests.
Coordinate schedules with appropriate trade partners for repair and maintenance.
Track and submit weekly time detailing work completed each week.
Complete initial Walk Through with new clients and Property Services Manager.
Conduct full tutorial on appliances and mechanicals of the new home.
Complete Year-End Walk Through with clients, establish punch list, implement with appropriate trade partners and complete.
Conduct storm watches and report back update on interior/exterior of overall property.
Submit all receipts to accounting department on time.
Participate in weekly Property Services meetings.
Required experience includes:
High School Diploma or GED and valid driver's license Two years' experience in facilities maintenance or related field required.
Basic electrical and plumbing skills Moderate to advanced carpentry skills Working knowledge of safety procedures and building code regulations Required carpentry skills include the ability to replace deck boards; install bathroom accessories; installing, shimming, repairing and adjusting of doors, cutting down doors and installing hardware; Leveling steps; Knowledge of appliances - installation, connection and operation.
Furnace knowledge - installing filters and resetting furnace preferred.
Required tools:
Hammer Screwdriver set.
Tape measure 25' - 30' Utility knife and extra blades Set of wood chisels Torpedo levels, 24 and 48 long Small set of miscellaneous drill bits Framing square Allen wrenches - 2 sets (SAE and Metric) Prybar or wrecking bar Pliers Working Conditions Field environment.
May be exposed to hazardous working environments with heavy machinery.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
